Background

Education. Haskins received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1982. He then earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. In 2010, Haskins obtained an LL.M. from Chapman University School of Law. [1]

Career. At the time of his election to the bench, Haskins worked for the Orange County District Attorney’s office as an assistant district attorney. He began working with that office in 1986. Haskins has also taught as an adjunct professor at Chapman University School of Law since 2009. [1]

Awards. 1993: Outstanding Prosecutor Award, Association of Orange County Deputy District Attorneys [1]
