I am a public servant, financial leader, and lifelong Orange County resident committed to protecting the integrity of taxpayer dollars and the people who serve our community. I bring over 26 years of experience in county government, including more than two decades in public finance, operations, and compliance. My career began at the Orange County Health Care Agency, where I supported critical programs in behavioral health and public health services. I later served in leadership roles at the County Executive Office, the Probation Department, and the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office, where I helped oversee financial operations, budgeting, and strategic initiatives. Today, I serve as the County’s Chief Investment Officer, managing public funds with a focus on safety, liquidity, and yield. I am a third-generation county employee, and public service is deeply rooted in my family. That legacy has shaped my commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership. I’m running for Orange County Treasurer-Tax Collector to restore trust, strengthen financial stewardship, and ensure the office operates with professionalism and integrity. I believe in using modern tools and responsible investment strategies to better serve residents, schools, and local agencies—while always prioritizing the protection of public funds and the people behind them. Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office? Proven leadership and experience: I bring over 26 years of Orange County public service, including more than two decades in finance, operations, and compliance. I have successfully led finance operations for departments and, over the past three years, managed the operations of Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office, and most recently serving as Orange County Chief Investment Officer. My experience is hands-on and results-driven—focused on safeguarding public funds, improving operations, and ensuring the office performs at the highest professional standard from day one. Integrity, accountability, and restoring trust: This role demands transparency, ethical leadership, and accountability to the public. I am committed to restoring confidence in the Treasurer-Tax Collector’s Office by ensuring decisions are made responsibly, policies are followed, and employees are treated with respect. Voters can expect clear reporting, strong oversight, and a culture where doing the right thing—not the easy thing—guides every action. Protecting taxpayers while modernizing services: I will prioritize the safety and liquidity of public funds while responsibly maximizing returns to benefit schools, cities, and taxpayers. At the same time, I will modernize the office through enhanced technology, expanded online services like e-billing and payment options, and improved customer experience. My goal is a more efficient, accessible, and forward-thinking office that better serves everyone in Orange County. What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about? I am passionate about fiscal responsibility, transparency, and strong public service. Protecting taxpayer dollars is essential—public funds must be managed safely, responsibly, and with long-term stability in mind. I also believe in open, accountable government, where decisions are made ethically and reporting is clear and accessible. Supporting the public workforce is equally important, as employees are critical to delivering reliable services. Finally, I value modernizing government through technology to improve efficiency, expand access, and better serve residents, schools, and local agencies.
