Background
Biography. Anna Caballero lives in Salinas, California . Caballero earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego, and a J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, law school. Her career experience includes working as an attorney for California Rural Legal Assistance and the law firm of Caballero, Matcham and McCarthy. Caballero founded the nonprofit, Partners for Peace. She was appointed to serve as the secretary of the Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency of Gov. Jerry Brown ‘s (D) cabinet. She also served as mayor of Salinas and on the Salinas City Council. [1]
